The Louisville Courier-Journal ran a
great profile of Senate candidate, Mike Cassaro, on page one of its Mother’s Day
issue. This profile highlighted
Mike’s strong family values and work ethic.
"On a typical day, Cassaro wakes up at 4 a.m.,
walks several miles, then returns home to work on his campaign. He makes hot
breakfast for his children, Annie and Charlie, and arrives at work around 8:15.
He sees patients until 4:30 p.m., then returns to campaign work, traveling to
political functions and making speeches until late."
The Courier-Journal article also
discussed Mike’s unique prescription for positive change in Washington.
"If he is elected, Cassaro said he would pursue
major changes in the nation’s healthcare system, and push for a national lottery to
shore up funding for Social Security
